PTAP2330 : Rehabilitation for Specialized Disorders

This course examines physical therapy management for individuals with complex and specialized conditions across the lifespan. Students explore rehabilitation considerations for populations such as individuals with diabetes, obesity, cancer, burns, amputations, pelvic health conditions, and pediatric disorders. Emphasis is placed on clinical reasoning, safety, psychosocial factors, and application of evidence-informed strategies to support functional outcomes within the physical therapist assistant scope of practice.
