PTAP2320 : Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation

This course examines the principles of physical therapy management for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions across the lifespan. Students explore the structure and function of the cardiopulmonary system, common diseases and medical management, and the physiological responses to exercise. Emphasis is placed on monitoring patient status, interpreting clinical data, and applying safe, evidence-informed interventions to support endurance, function, and overall health.
